Website email extractor: find the emails on any website.
QuickExtract is a website email extractor that runs in Chrome. Paste a list of up to 1,000 sites, crawl every link on a directory page, or let it collect emails while you browse. You get one row per domain, and every email it finds is free.
Three ways to extract emails from websites.
Paste a list, right-click a page, or just browse. All three land in the same Websites table.
Crawl a list of websites
Paste up to 1,000 URLs, one per line, and press “Find emails on these sites” or Ctrl/Cmd + Enter. Turn on Go slow to wait 5 seconds between sites.
Crawl a page's links
On a directory, a roundup or a partner page, right-click and choose “Crawl this page's links for emails”. Every outside site it links to gets crawled.
Or choose “Extract emails from this page” to grab the emails on the page itself.
Collect while you browse
Switch on “Autosave emails while I browse” and every page you visit is scanned for emails in the background. LinkedIn is always skipped.
How to use the website email extractor on a list of sites.
Open Websites
Click the QuickExtract icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the dashboard, then open Websites & directories.
Paste your URLs
One per line, up to 1,000. Bare domains like
northwind.ioand full links likehttps://ledgerly.appboth work.Pick a group
Choose a group under Save these sites to, or create a new one, so this list stays separate from the rest.
Set the pace
Leave the normal speed for most lists. Turn on Go slow if the sites you're crawling block fast visits.
Start the crawl
Press Find emails on these sites, or Ctrl+Enter (Cmd+Enter on a Mac). The tiles show Sites, With email and Still searching.
Export
Switch to the With email tab, select every row, and export a CSV or TXT, copy the emails, or send them to Quickprosp.
Crawl a directory's links for emails.
Directories, “best of” roundups, resource pages and sponsor pages already link to the sites you want to reach. You don't need to copy those links one by one.
Open the page, right-click anywhere, open QuickExtract and choose “Crawl this page's links for emails”. QuickExtract visits every outside site the page links to, searches each for emails, and keeps one row per domain.
To grab only what's on the page in front of you, choose “Extract emails from this page” instead. Results land in the Websites table, and the toolbar badge shows when the action is working, done or has hit an error.
Example pages: “50 best project management tools”, a conference sponsors page, a niche blog's resources page. See the PR and link-building playbook.
An email scraper Chrome extension that works while you browse.
Switch on “Autosave emails while I browse” on the Websites page. Every page you open is scanned in the background, and its emails are collected automatically.
Good for research sessions
Reviewing prospects one site at a time? Leave autosave on and the emails pile up in your table while you read.
LinkedIn is always skipped
Autosave never reads LinkedIn pages, whatever you have open.
Off when you're done
Switch autosave off when you don't need it, for example before personal browsing. It's a toggle on the Websites page.
What the website email extractor reads on every site.
For each website, QuickExtract reads the homepage and up to eight more pages where companies list how to reach them, then keeps the best email it finds.
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| Homepage | Reads the page and every mailto: link on it. |
| Contact pages | Follows links to contact, about, team, company, support, help, impressum, kontakt, privacy and legal pages. |
| Hidden addresses | Decodes name [at] site [dot] com, (at) and HTML-encoded @ signs. |
| Cleanup | Drops image file names, no-reply and placeholder addresses, and anything on your excluded domains. |
| Ranking | Prefers the site's own domain, then personal addresses over shared inboxes. |
| Merging | Keeps one row per domain. Extra emails from the same domain are added to it. |
Fast by default, gentle when it matters.
Normally, 3 sites are crawled at a time. Some sites block several quick visits in a row. Go slow visits one site at a time, about 5 seconds apart, which most sites accept.

gmail.com, googlemail.com, google.com, x.com, twitter.com, microsoft.com, linkedin.com, facebook.com, fb.com, youtube.com, instagram.com, apple.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com, wixpress.com and sentry.io.
- Remove gmail.com if you're crawling small local businesses that use Gmail
- Add a domain that keeps showing up on every site, like a platform or agency address
- Add your own domain so your address never lands in a list
What you get from the bulk email extractor.
Everything below is free. Website emails are publicly available, so they never use credits.
| Item | Details |
|---|---|
| Rows | One per domain, showing the website and its company email. Emails found later on the same domain are merged into that row. |
| Tabs | All, With email and No email. |
| Search and sort | Search the table, filter by group, and sort by Newest, Name or Domain. |
| Selecting | Select-all covers every row that matches your filters. The table loads 50 rows at a time as you scroll. |
| First names | Worked out from each email, so jane.doe@ gives “Jane”. Shared inboxes like info@ get none. |
| CSV export | 37 columns, UTF-8 with a byte order mark so Excel shows accents correctly. Named like websites-240-sites.csv. |
| TXT and copy | One email per line, or straight to your clipboard. |
| Quickprosp | Save to a Quickprosp list, add to a campaign or enroll in an automation. Already-sent leads are skipped. |
| Storage | Saved to your QuickExtract account, so your lists follow your login. |
Need a CRM? Import the CSV into HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive or a spreadsheet. See integrations.
What is a website email extractor?
A tool that visits websites and pulls out the email addresses published on them. QuickExtract reads each site's homepage and up to 8 contact-style pages, decodes hidden addresses and keeps the best ones, one row per domain.
Are website emails free?
Yes. Every email found on a website is publicly available, so it's always free.
How many websites can I extract emails from at once?
Up to 1,000 URLs per list. Normally 3 sites are crawled at a time, and each page has a 10-second limit.
Can I extract emails from every site in a directory?
Yes. Right-click the directory page and choose “Crawl this page's links for emails”. QuickExtract visits every outside site the page links to.
What if a site blocks me?
Turn on Go slow. QuickExtract then visits one site at a time with a 5-second gap, which most sites accept.
Does autosave read LinkedIn?
No. LinkedIn pages are always excluded from autosave.
Can I skip Gmail and similar addresses?
Yes. The excluded domains list skips and hides them. Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail and other common providers are on it by default.
Can I open the results in Excel?
Yes. The CSV is saved as UTF-8 with a byte order mark, so Excel shows accents and non-English names correctly.
